Small Budget Bathroom Flip

I always seem to neglect bathrooms when it come to decorating. I guess I've been spoiled in the past by having homes where the bathrooms were "move in ready" - being in decent shape with a shower curtain rod, a mirror etc.

This bathroom... not so much. I didn't take enough before pictures to justify the flip, but with a budget of around 40 dollars it's looking pretty clean! Since budgets always vary based on what I have on hand, I've included those details too in case it helps.

On Hand -
White Paint,
Shower Curtain (Giant Tiger),
Drywall & materials for patching (Kent),
Ugly Shelf (Painted it white an gave it a coat of wax),
Plant (Winners)
Towel Rod (Kent)

Caulking - $8
Waterproof Bathroom Paint - $7
Mirror - $20 (Winners)
Shelf - Free! Just needed some white paint and wax :)

So many holes in the walls that needed to be patched,  including one life sized one...

Before and After

Cleaning up the caulking around the tub and toilet makes everything feel 100x cleaner.

This wall needs a picture now but anything is better than chipped paint and holes!!

I was worried the paint color would be a little too dark. It was the last bathroom paint from Habitat for Humanity, but with all the white it works.. I think. Thanks again Habitat!
